Art is the absence of fear
— Erykah Badu

Juno award nominee Drew Brown has spent most of his life travelling, performing and writing across Canada and U.S. sharing songs. Raised on Gospel music, Woodstock era folk & rock and 80's pop bands like Depeche Mode & U2

Drew Brown combines the soul of singer/songwriter with the heart of a spiritual wanderer, traveling and connecting with people through stories and songs. Blending soul, folk, rock and electronica - he has crafted an instantly recognizable sound that is familiar and comfortable, yet completely unique and all his own. No matter the venue, audience or song - connecting people to the gospel, bringing them into a space of wonder and gratitude through music and story…. is at the heart of what Drew does.

He has been recently nominated for a Juno for Gospel/Contemporary Christian Album of the year, took home a Gospel Music Award (Covenant Award) for Male Vocalist and Producer of the Year.

His Juno nominated album "Analog Love in Digital Times" is a collection of songs that are influenced by different styles of pop, soul, indie, folk, electro and hard rock. His rich voice has been compared to the likes of Peter Gabriel, Seal and Sting. His 2017 EP “Homecoming” (which includes the new single “Where the Heart Is” as well as b-sides and songs recorded live on tour) continues the movement into deeper soundscapes and broader storytelling. His writing takes you on a honest and adventurous ride through stories of love and all of its complications. Drew Brown's music and live show is revealing a story waiting to be told and aching to be heard.

Drew also has a heart for pouring into other artists and musicians. And to help with that.. he started the Personic Creative Collective to be a hub for creatives to grow, learn and be resourced. Offering production, photography and a community/support system to assist in launching their projects.
